We stand with you in calling-out the horrific events of Charlottesville, the ugliness of persisting racism in our society, the reality of hate and hate-mongering, the muted responses to date from authorities, the agony of victimization, the demonic behavior of cults of hate and white supremacy, the reality of the death of Heather Heyer as she tried peaceably to name oppression, the brutal assault on Deandre Harris, and the injury to many more protesting white nationalism. 

In his post titled "What UK Universities Can Learn from the US About Promoting Well-being," author Jules Evans, a "research fellow at a Wellcome Trust funded project called Living with Feeling, at the Centre for the History of Emotions, Queen Mary University of London," summarizes BTtoP's recent volume Well-Being and Higher Education as an example of how UK institutions can learn from the work being done by American colleges and universities.

BTtoP is honored to be featured in Georgetown University's student-run newspaper The Hoya for their special Health and Wellness Issue. The article, titled "The Engelhard Project: Healthy Learning, Healthy Living: Reflection in the Classroom" details BTtoP's over-a-decade long relationship with Georgetown and particularly the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship (CNDLS) in launching the Engelhard project, named after BTtoP co-founder Sally Engelhard Pingree.

The webinar provided guidance on the 2017-2018 RFP, BTtoP's theory of change, and crafting campus dialogue grant proposals, with particular attention to the required proposal logic model.

The beginning of the school year prompts many conversations—among new students; among students and their parents; among students, parents, faculty members, student affairs professionals, and administrators.

BTtoP Director Don Harward's new opinion essay, published in Truthout, acts as a response to the Koch brothers’ recent efforts to “capture” the meaning of well-being—and to use that concept as a Trojan Horse for propagandizing their own ideology within higher education.
